Malerie Marder IMPERMANENT 1990-1995

Over the Influence is honored to share new works by Marder for the 25th edition of Paris Photo, opening November 10-13, 2022 at the Grand Palais Éphémère. During the pandemic, Marder went on an archeological dig to uncover a trove of her black and white photographs made from 1990 to 1995 (ages 19-25). Over The Influence is thrilled to be exhibiting Marder’s 4 x 5 photographs titled IMPERMANENCE. Before her MFA at Yale and her inclusion in the seminal group show, “Another Girl, Another Planet” in 1999. To me these works are deeply remarkable and painfully beautiful.
